Colby’s practice focuses on complex product liability, personal injury, and commercial litigation matters. She represents a diverse range of clients, from local business to Fortune 500 companies, including product manufacturers, theme parks, security companies, and commercial businesses of all sizes. Her experience spans catastrophic personal injury matters—including wrongful death and traumatic brain injury claims—involving allegedly defective products, motor vehicle collisions, alleged negligent security, trucking accidents, and premises liability claims, as well as commercial disputes involving franchise issues, contract matters, and alleged unfair trade practices.
Colby represents clients throughout the country in both state and federal courts. She has successfully defended clients in high-stakes litigation and has tried cases to defense verdicts in both state and federal court. Focusing on a practical approach to litigation, she works closely with clients to develop effective strategies tailored to their business objectives and litigation risks.
Colby graduated summa cum laude from Barry University School of Law, where she finished third in her class. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Journalism, cum laude, from the University of Florida, a background that continues to strengthen her advocacy, communication, and analytical skills on behalf of her clients.
